Editorial Policy & Disclaimer
BlogDiamond exists to make the diamond market easier to read: grading, prices, certificates and where to buy. This page explains who writes our articles, how they are checked and how we correct mistakes.
1. Who writes BlogDiamond: the AI Desk
Our articles are drafted by the BlogDiamond AI Desk: four AI analyst personas, each with a fixed area of coverage (market and pricing, grading and certification, lab-grown diamonds, jewelry design and trends). They are not people. Their names mark an area of coverage, and their portraits are illustrations, not photographs.
2. Human editorial review
Every article is reviewed by the BlogDiamond editorial team before it is published. Editors check facts, figures and links against the sources cited, remove claims that cannot be sourced and decide whether a piece is published. The editorial team is responsible for everything on this site.
3. Method and sources
- Grading: standards published by independent laboratories such as GIA, IGI and the American Gem Society.
- Prices: public retailer listings and the trade references named in each article. Prices are reference points at the time of writing, not quotes.
- Calculations: tools such as the carat size calculator publish their formula and assumptions on the page.
- Figures: every number we highlight links to the analysis or source it comes from. We do not invent prices, statistics, experts or quotes.
4. Corrections
When an error is confirmed, we correct it in the article itself. Material corrections are noted in the text. To report a possible error, use the briefing form on our front page and include the article address.
5. No financial advice
Content on BlogDiamond.com, including price analysis, market trend reports and “investment grade” discussions, is for information only. We are not financial advisors. Diamond values, natural and lab-grown, can fall as well as rise; consult a qualified professional before significant decisions.
6. Affiliate disclosure
To keep the site free, BlogDiamond may take part in retailer affiliate programs. If you buy through some links, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Partnerships do not influence our analysis: we do not accept payment to change a rating, and we say so when a stone or a retailer falls short.
7. Images
We use our own images, licensed images with credit (for example from Wikimedia Commons under the license shown) and illustrations. Screen calibration and lighting mean a diamond may look different in person.
8. Errors and omissions
The diamond market changes daily. We work to keep data accurate but cannot guarantee that every figure is current at the moment you read it.
